Who is Tima+Jo?

Tima+Jo is a family legacy brand that creates handmade trendsetting accessories.  The name derives from the designers family members that have passed on and those that are still present. 

 

Why Tima+Jo?

“Seventeen years ago, I picked up my first piece of unfinished wood, not realizing it would change my life. At the time, I was searching for a way to express myself—something that felt authentic, personal, and deeply connected to who I am. I’ve always been drawn to art, color, and creativity, but I also wanted to create something tangible, something people could wear and carry with them every day.

 

Wood spoke to me in a way other materials didn’t. It was raw, natural, and full of possibilities. I loved the idea of taking something simple and transforming it into a work of art—each piece infused with a story, a feeling, a touch of individuality.

 

Over the years, making wooden jewelry has become more than just a craft or business; it’s a part of my identity. It’s about creating something meaningful—pieces that spark confidence, start conversations, and make people feel special. It’s about the joy of seeing someone light up when they find a pair of earrings that feels like them.

 

Seventeen years later, I’m still here, still painting, still designing, still falling in love with every new creation. Because for me, making wood jewelry isn’t just about the earrings—it’s about the artistry, the journey, and the people who wear them. And that’s why I keep going.”
